Tom is the owner and LFI at Kai Tac Defensive Solutions located in Apollo Beach, FL
A lifelong practitioner of the martial arts, Thomas has studied Tae Kwon Do, Shorin Ryu, Goju Ryu, Kyokushin, most recently Silat and ten years of aikido. Being a pilot, Thomas is particularly interested in close quarter combat techniques. His interests in the combative arts led him to firearms instruction and tactical training, where he has amassed numerous trainer credentials, to include NRA Law Enforcement Handgun Instructor, NRA Law Enforcement Shotgun Instructor, Sig Sauer Law Enforcement Low Light Instructor, UTM Law Enforcement Instructor Trainer, General Dynamics Law Enforcement Simunition Scenario Instructor and most recently, a Range Master Defensive Shotgun Instructor as well as Vector Law Enforcement  Shield Instructor. He feels the Vector Shield is one of the most useful, innovative close quarter defensive tools available anywhere.
